Royal Entertainment artiste Joy Chiang shared an exciting piece of news with her friends and followers on 8 February - she’s expecting a baby girl! Prior to her big announcement, there had already been some speculation about whether she might be carrying a child, as eagle-eyed fans noticed that she was wearing more loose-fitting clothing in her recent photos posted on social media. They turned out to be right!
But that is not the only happening story for Joy. Now about 10 weeks into her pregnancy, the energetic artiste continues to be involved in a flurry of activities, starting with the filming of her very own online variety show, A Joyful Deal.
In this new show, Joy upacks takeaway food from various dining establishments, giving her reviews on the packaging, presentation and taste of the dishes. This bridges a gap between customers’ expectations and the reality of what eateries offer in terms of takeaways, especially during a time when take-outs become increasingly common. The first episode of A Joyful Deal, set to debut in the upcoming weeks, features dishes from Miso Salmon, a Japanese casual dining restaurant that serves its signature Inaniwa Udon and healthy collagen soup.
Filming aside, Joy will also be in attendance to witness the crowning of a new champion at the prestigious Manhunt Singapore 2021/2022 grand finals, held on 28 February at One Marina Boulevard, Level 7, Stephen Riardy Auditorium.
Congratulations to Joy for her bundle of joy, as well as her new show launching soon! Keep tabs on A Joyful Deal to catch the premiere, and follow her on her official Facebook and Instagram accounts for more of her updates. We can’t wait to see her little munchkin when she pops! |
